Featured BVI Island: Norman Island

BVI water activities

Believed to be the setting of Robert Louis Stevenson’s “Treasure Island,” Norman Island has a history filled with pirates and hidden gold. While legends spur much of the talk of buried treasure, the amazing Caves – one of the most popular tourist attractions in the BVI – add to the allure of Norman Island.

This two and a half mile long island is located at the southern end of the British Virgin Islands, near the US Virgin Islands. While the island itself is uninhabited, you will find Pirates Bight bar and restaurant on Norman Island. Available for lunch and dinner, the eatery serves West Indian cuisine in a perfect deserted island setting.

Norman Island has rolling hills sloping gently to the waters edge. There are beautiful bays and offshore reefs for yachting, diving, snorkeling, and many other water activities in the BVI.

Your Special Day Deserves a Special Honeymoon Yacht Charter

It’s the most important day of your life. Something you’ll look back on forever. It’s your wedding day. You plan your wedding down to the very last detail – perfect gown, matching accessories, flawless hairdo, stylish bridesmaids’ dresses, beautiful flowers… and the list goes on.

The location of your wedding is one that you should choose carefully. Some prefer the traditional church ceremony. Others like an outdoor garden ceremony. You might also consider an exotic wedding ceremony in the British Virgin Islands.

BVI wedding

While getting married outside of theUnited Statesinvolves some laws to consider, if you choose the right organization to help you, it’ll be a breeze. Marrying in the BVI involves an appointment with the Attorney General, $110 in BVI Stamps, and a registrar; however, the right specialist can help you through this process so you only need to worry about which shoes look better with your dress.

After your big day is over, it’s time for your honeymoon. As much preparation should go into your first vacation as husband and wife as the planning for your wedding. Honeymooning on a luxury yacht charter in the BVI involves champagne receptions, breakfast in bed, crystal clear waters, and pristine sugar sand beaches.
Your dream wedding and honeymoon is possible and affordable, since many charter boats offer discounts for your special occasion.
